I found 2 different news clippings from Roth's Birthday party which was held in Hamburg, Germany on the 1978 tour. The band spent 2 days in Hamburg, so the party either took place on 5/7, 5/8 or 5/9. the band played Paris on 5/10.

Deadly scoop. I can tell its from a Google Book search since the Van Halen words are highlighted in Yellow.
It occurred to me these German shows are the ones Sharon Osbourne mentioned Ozzy shaved Dave's eyebrow. But you can see he still has two full eyebrows in these pics.
