It's all that "Big Lots Vodka" he used to drink.... which turned out to be rubbing alcohol (because Big Lots doesn't actually sell booze)

Don't know if Big Lots sells booze or not. Their predecessor Pic N Save did. It was probably cheaper than the Boone's Farm wine I used to drink but I never lived close enough to a Pic N Save to make it worth my while to buy booze there.
BTW: If I had been drinking rubbing alcohol I wouldn't be above ground now. To avoid taxation as a liquor here in the U S rubbing alcohol must contain poisonous substances to deter people from drinking it.
