The only thing that immediately springs to mind regarding Romney by way of recommendation is that he has run large corporate and governmental bureaucracies before, when considering the size of the State Department. Plus, he's substantially less thin-skinned personally - and thus less likely to let his mouth outpace his brain in terms of not thinking before he speaks - than Rudy "I was Mayor of New York City on 9/11" Giuliani. Granted, Giuliani was Mayor of one of the largest cities in the world, so it's not as if he hasn't had any experience running a large bureaucracy.
But to be sure every Trump Cabinet pick is either a multi-millionaire if not a billionaire. And all of them have been around government a long time. So they all know how the game works. I mean, it's not as if Rudy has been any more of a champion of the working classes than Mittens was for the last 15 years.
I think it must be awfully difficult for the hardcore Trump supporters to watch him pack his Cabinet with all these extremely wealthy people who have been wired-in to the government for decades and try and reconcile that with Trump's claim of wanting to 'drain the swamp' and being someone who cares about working people. If Trump and those surrounding him have their way, there is going to be a massive amount of privatization and a massive reduction in the safety nets for the working class and the poor. Couple those with massive tax breaks for the top earners and businesses...it doesn't look promising for all those Rust Belt Trump voters. Not as promising as, say, a $15 an hour minimum wage.
Doubtless these low-income Trump voters will swallow the pablum they will inevitably be fed after their benefits are slashed and their taxes are raised that it was all Obama's fault and that slashing benefits and services for the working class while simultaneously raising their income taxes is 'patriotic' and 'good for America'.

I hope I end up being wrong about all of this, but looking at the ideological makeup of Trump's Cabinet picks thus far along with the Senate and House Republican leadership and what they have publicly advocated for decades doesn't give me - as a working class person - much cause to think otherwise.
