Those private colleges do teach some of their students valuable skills they can use to get better jobs but they accept people with no aptitude for what they're going to school for knowing they're probably not going to graduate.
I think the argument is Trump'a advertising for his product was misleading and the product was ultimately worthless. Sounds like Ubamacare to me. The only difference there is Trump didn't force anyone to buy his product.
Walmart used to hire full and part time workers direct and offered benefits after one year of service to full timers. Now they hire temps and part timers to avoid dealing with Obamacare. Working for Walmart isn't the best job out there but it is a job. As far as buying cheap Chinese junk goes don't and buy name brand merchandise if you think it's any better.

I researched it. It was a typical get rich quick scam. He made a few claims that can be proven to be lies but I doubt he'll have to do much more than shell out a couple million in settlements. Then he'll write that off and avoid paying income tax for another 20 years.

For better or worse, this is the system we have. And it works better than any other form of gubment on the planet. Yep, the last politician in office in this country who could even be considered remotely "far left" was FDR's vice president Henry Wallace. And the powers that be (even the Beltway division of the Democratic party) were so scared shitless of him that they demanded he be off the ticket when FDR - in declining health- ran for his 4th term, and replaced him with the "moderate centrist" Truman, who became President when FDR died in office.
Had Henry Wallace become President, it's quite possible the BCE would have never gained the level of power they did, as Wallace would not have been as receptive to the creation of the military industrial complex. And the Korean war (or at least US involvement in it) would have never happened.
