Popped into my head...
Listening to Sirius channel 50, The Groove.
OLD SCHOOL JAMS
Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.
And a little Brothers Johnson
Guilty pleasure...
Does anyone know about this band in the US?
Super nice European folk went out drinking with them last year...
Roland D50 at the start Twona?
I don't know what's more disturbing about that video, the drummer or the fact that he's a drummer.

These fellow countrymen of yours were popular here. WMMS played them a lot.
The band never achieved acclaim in the United States the way it did in Great Britain, but it had a cult following in certain US cities, especially Cleveland, where the group first played at the Agora Ballroom in December 1974. Thanks to airplay from WMMS, songs like "Next" and "The Faith Healer" became very popular. Cleveland music critics observed that the Sensational Alex Harvey Band could headline in that city, while in other cities few people came to see them.

First DLR Connection?
I think they are maybe better on album than live, most of the original band are gone or dead now from what I hear but they wrote some great melodies back in the day...
Best to not worry too much about the visuals...
I know people think I'm joking, but this video kicks ass!!
And this came up next!
Here's a good Temptations song that might not be that well known
Here's another one I watch/listen to on a regular basis. Yeah, yeah, whatever:
It's bad ass!!
I approve of Brutha Tuna's Soul Selection.
Now this may have been one of the first corporate bands, but at least they had talent & kicked some ass.
Not much ass, just some.
Produced by everyone's favorite member of Duran Duran, Andy Taylor!
Back in the days of yore Newcastle had a rock nightclub called the Mayfair. There wasnt really a lot of them , lots of rock pubs but not big night clubs.
To get people in early they would have bands on first to get the night going. Thunder played it a number of times.
fuck your fucking framing
Oh Andy Taylor was born a couple of miles from me.
The best band to play there , that I can remember
Since I went there with Andy Taylor, this is from the second Power Station album. No John Taylor, but Bernard Edwards of Chic on bass instead.
And this one is ALWAYS on my play list:
Belinda is so fuckin hot I want to lick her arm pits. Holy hell - she's got a kick ass tan and she was a filthy whore back then. I would suck her cooch dry.
Belinda Carlisle was hot !!!!!
Hopefully the neighbors can't hear the bass over the howling wind
