No official results for a while yet, but let's start off with an informal sampling from Thom Hartmann's show this morning.....

Those of you familiar with Thom's show know that he does these telephone "straw polls" during every election season. Callers are identified by city & area code and they get a few seconds to name their choice for President. Thom took these calls for the first half hour of his show.

Results are as follows:

Bernie Sanders - 62

Hillary Clinton - 3

Donald Trump - 3

Now, you could obviously call this a "non-scientific" sampling, but these results certainly do not match the corporate media narrative. Nor do they match some of the scripted phone calls from Camp Weathervane boiler rooms that bug Thom on a daily basis.

But they were an honest poll made up from actual voters, so make of it what you will.

I watched s lot of trump on YouTube the last couple of days.
I used to think he was funny previously in a crazy uncle, father jack "feck" sort of way.

I quite liked he was a pathological liar , I liked he was some sort of Roth army character that said stuff for the effect it had. I even found his self love amusing in a weird way.

But now I can't shake the feeling it reminds me of something .
And then I realised its starting to feel a little like the Stephen King book "the dead zone"
Trump feels like the Stilson presidential candidate figure and we're all watching this trainwreck character steamroll to the White House .
