He's not the nominee yet. The Republican Party are going to play their dirty tricks still. Let's just say things are going to get colorful in Cleveland this July. The Democrat Party are throwing Bernie under the bus. To be honest with you if Trump met with Sanders and brought him in, I wouldn't be surprised. Look the guy showed some integrity as a senator and he and Trump have some common ground on trade and banking regulation. It would be a major finger flip to the Republican establishment and would steal votes from Hillary. Now the question would be how many Republican votes would you lose? Trump is not running a far right campaign. He wants to run the ball down the middle. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Cruz stayed in because he's a good debator and the establishment was using him and Kasich as a spoiler against Trump. They were hoping for a brokered convention and to dump Trump and put someone besides Cruz in. Kasich has a lousy poker face and probably thought it might be him. Why else would the guy stay in? It's not so much that people are wild about Trump it's they are pissed off at the corrupt political inside baseball going on. It's the same on the Democrat side. Same corrupt shit. No! Kasich cancels DC-area event, stoking speculation he'll drop White House bid
By Ben Kamisar
DULLES, Va. — Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich canceled a planned Wednesday morning news conference outside Washington D.C., and now plans to address the media in Ohio later Wednesday afternoon.
Stewart Young, a campaign volunteer, told a group of reporters that Kasich would not attend the press conference in Dulles, Va. as scheduled and instead will make "an announcement" at 5 p.m.
Kasich had been scheduled to fundraise in the Washington area on Wednesday and meet with his national security staff in Washington on Thursday.
The cancellation of the news conference, the morning after Ted Cruz suspended his presidential campaign, stokes speculation that the Ohio governor will drop out of the race.
A "senior campaign adviser" told NBC News that Kasich will suspend his campaign.
Kasich suffered a big blow Tuesday night when Donald Trump's big Indiana primary win forced Cruz to surprisingly drop out of the race. Without Cruz to help Kasich amass delegates and keep Trump from reaching the 1,237 delegate threshold for the Republican nomination, Kasich's slim opening to secure the nomination was slammed shut.
The governor's team had given every indication that they'll press forward, despite having no path to victory, promising in a Tuesday night press release to continue campaigning for "as long as it remains possible."
The planned Kasich event on Wednesday, held in private airplane terminal near Washington-Dulles International Airport, suffered from logistical snafus long before the Ohio governor scrapped the event. A terminal employee attempted to bar television reporters from holding live shots showing the background of the terminal and said that reporters could not show images of the governor unless the background was obscured.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Realistically, Kasich's chances really aren't much worse this morning than they were yesterday, so I'm thinking Drumpf made some sort of deal to get him out of the way. Scheduling his press conference late in the day would allow others plenty of time to coordinate their own schedules. Like Herr Ruggenfuhrer himself perhaps? With the obvious announcement being a Trump/Kasich ticket?
From a political strategy viewpoint, it would be a smart move. Ohio is a "swing" state, and statistically, no Republican can get elected President without winning there. Kasich has the political experience which Trump obviously does not have. He would be the type of running mate that all the political consultants would be urging Trump to bring on board.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Sanders should reach down and grab his shriveled up old balls, like Cruz and Kasich have done, and drop out of the race that he has ZERO chance of winning.
From here on out, there will be two winners in the United States Presidential election. Hillbillary and Trump. The general public hasn't figured out yet, that although they claim to represent different parties, they are a team.
This is exactly what we get for being sheep to the two party system.Comment

Dragonshit! Bernie's case actually just got 666% stronger....
The Republican nominee is now to the LEFT of Hillary on SHAFTA and the PNAC war agenda. And Trump will definitely make that part of his campaign strategy. I certainly couldn't blame him for doing so.
Neither Bernie or Hillary will have the required majority of actual delegates by the end of primary season on June 14. So when it goes to the stupid-delegates at the convention, the only logical argument is which candidate does better against Trump. And that, without question, is Bernie Sanders.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan
