Actually the Bundy's aren't Oregon militia. In fact the Oregon 3% were pissed they took control of the national wildlife refuge and told them to get the hell out of there. The Bundy's were warned many times what was going to happen and Ammon Bundy went on how he prayed and God told him he was doing the right thing. Well it ended up with a family friend shot dead (his own fault I read the police reports. The officer was trying to get in close with a tazer and you can see this on video and LaVoy reached for something in his coat and was dropped by an officer's rifle). The Bundy's ended up in jail. The dad was thrown in jail when he showed up at the Portland airport. So you have the family the Bundy's protested to help get out of jail still in jail and now the Bundy's are in jail and one man is dead. They accomplished no objective. Ammon's God was wrong. This all overshadows the actual abuse of power the BLM has been involved in. The Bundy's are doing time because they all were stupid. One guy is dead because he was stupid. Moral of the story. Don't be stupid.

Interesting interview to get the big picture on what was going on in Burns. It's a bigger story than just some guys taking over a wild life refuge.
