Most times votes are grey, there are arguments on both sides including the Scottish referendum. This one was just plain fucking stupid. Their arguments were all plain lies or half truths.

It's like Trump. People say they don't trust politicians so that allows some to just fucking make shit up completely and be on an equal basis.

The leave campaign have been driving around in a big red bus with total snopes level completely no possible argument lies on the side of it all the way through the campaign.

The main problem with the Trump thing here is that the corporate media is propping him 24/7, while systematically ignoring the TRUE populist candidate in the race (Bernie Sanders) so people are duped into thinking Trump is the only alternative to Hillary and the same old corporatist bullshit.

Sky is a lot milder than Fox and has a much much lower share as it's a premium HBO type channel.

It is still a bit to the right of mainstream, I have to say I dwatch it very rarely.

This is the fundamental misunderstanding a lot of people have about that problem. 60% detest the idea of being part of Ireland. Back at the height of the troubles at least Ireland didn't want them because they couldn't have coped with the shit that was going on.

It should be better now that Ireland is a lot more secular but even if a majority wanted to go that way, the minority would cause insane amounts of shit about it.

But that was yesterday's reality. Now they have voted to remain in the EU, while England has voted to secede. Ireland is less religious than they used to be so maybe it would be easier for them to work with that dark history than side with the Brexiters.
