The image of both VH singers

After seeing Sammy with VH 2004 in Worcester MA qnd watching DLR last night on CBS I call for both of these guys to retire. Sammy with his capri pants and sandels is just as much of an embarrassment as DLR with his "low" kicks and sword play. These guys have not aged gracefully and both look ridiculous. Everyone who says Sammy is Mr. Cheese has got to open their eyes and admit that DLR with the Boston Pops was the height of cheesiness. Just flat out laughable. His voice sounded pretty good but the whole thing was like a bad sketch... just awful.

    Over and Out,
    General Hina

    hey general homo...

when you can do those kicks and at his age look in the shape he does then come talk to us. Id love to see pics of you at his age!

as for spammy..... looking like a big hot air ballon and dresing like a fairy is not an image of a frontman anyone wants to see.

if you pulled spammys cock out of your mouth and really took a look at him you also would be embarrassed!

truth is Dave has a much better image than sam and always has been. people dont take a guy like spammy seriously as a frontman. its too bad ed allows the VH name to become a joke with spammy leading it.

    try again!

    Lost it?

I don't know what YOU'VE been watchin', but saying Dave lost it is like saying Osama is a really nice guy... That's total BS. I saw Dave a few months back here in NYC, and he fuckin' KICKED ASS!!! He was jumpin' around like a man half his age. He also sang well too... There's also no denying the fact that Dave kicked Sam's ass EVERY NIGHT of the Sam and Dave tour... I think that's all that needs to be said. Look out for titties!!

I love how you mention he was "jumping around". Big fucking deal, he cant sing for shit anymore and is an asshole.

That's right, let all of the anger out, you'll feel better really.
Maybe Van Hagar will get offered the July 4th gig next year.

We're here for you bud. Would you like to use my hanky?

Van Halen wouldnt be caught dead doing that shit. Its so funny how you defend the Pops, and you consider Van Hagar pussy?

We completely understand your frustration because

Van Hagar was not offered the gig. Really it's okay to

let those emotions out. Would you care for a tissue?

lol....Spammy also said he wouldn't be caught dead doing a tour based on a greatest hits CD. Hagarita fans loooooove Spammy so much that they wouldn't be caught dead on a Roth fansite.

Much like an Ex-Lax induced diaper, you, like your master Sammy Hagar, are full of shit.

    Whether or not

It doesn't MATTER if Dave's an asshole or not, man. He's the one that made Van Halen FUCKING GREAT!! Left to their own devices, The VanHalen sisters have put out such ROCKING moments as "Love walks in", "Finish what ya started", "Humans Being" and a ton of other pieces of shit that makes Celine Dion look like a fuckin GENIUS!!! Any RETARD knows that Sam is 2nd rate... wait, 3RD RATE, whereas Dave DEFINES 1ST RATE... Shit, Dave INVENTED 1ST RATE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!! Take Sam's best song(if he has one) and put it up against Dave's Best SONGS(plural, asshole) So what about THAT, turdslurper? You like Sam? Fine, the Links is your home for HOMOS... go fuck yourself you fuckin waste of life. I forgot where I got this picture, but it applies...

Ok i saw dave im june of '03 at the house of blues at disneyland.
He sings ok if he doesnt reach for the high notes.
Im a singer and a sax player so i can be practical.
He masks his inability to hit the high ones by taking a different 3rd, 5th or 7th note...for all of you who know what that means.
He looked funny with his dark tanned skin and highlighted hair. Kinda like the DOC from back to the future. BUT...his new pics with his brown hair look great and i think it serves him well as an older man.
Im not tryin to be an ass, but im just calling it as i see it.

Is anyone here as big of a fan as "a little aint enough" as i am?God damn i love it!!

Sammy has done more dates since 1996 (big venues and small) than DLR. It's fact and I still feel that Dave's 4th of July appearance was ridiculous. It's not what DLR should be doing it's something the Beach Boys or Chicago would do.

Maybe Dave doesn't need the money like Sam does, or perhaps isn't as greedy?
I thought the 4th of July appearance was pretty good from all stand points. Career wise, it was a boost that got him main stream media...In soime cases more than the reunion has lately. Also I thought his voice was very above par and proved he can still "go". Sure his hair was short, with a noticable bald spot and wearing the same suit in the last 3 media appearances but thats all throw away shit that most people that are out of the know, wouldn't pick up on. Kudo's to Dave. The twirling stick thingy was cool too. He adds more than singing to any performance...
"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE"

Dave's extending the legacy of those tunes deeper into pop culture.

At the same time he's claiming them.

He's got balls and he handles himself appropriately for all occasions.

Classic Van Halen is as relevant as The Beach Boys.
    Like it or not.
The Beach Boys, in their day, made a bigger impact than Van Hagar ever will.

And if you are down playing the Beach Boys place in the history of Rock N Roll........

    I dunno.

Have you seen the ratings? No one watched that show so as far as media attention it was minimal.
His voice was good and much better than when I saw him on the S&D tour.
Hair was fine I'm glad he's accepting the inevitable BUT why is it cool that Dave's bald and uncool that Sammy's fat when in reality 75% of the people on this site are probably both?
The twirling stick thing is as tired as Mike's bass solo and Sammy making waboritas.
And once again those July 4th appearances are for artists like Chicago and the Beach Boys.

I was merely stating that the Beach Boys are the type of band that usually do this type of show. NOT the Beach Boys from the 60's but Mike Love and the Beach Boys from 1980 til today.

I haven't checked the ratings no. But I will. Neilson is a regular stop for me for a few shows of curiosty. I dont think its cool that dave is bald and uncool that Sam is fat. In fact I am one of the few that mention Sams weight. I could care less. His appearance is HIS problem, and something his personal fans and wife and children should be concerned about- not me.
I like the twirling stick thing, but Im biased, I like everything Dave does. Not to say he hasn't made a few mistakes, no doubt he has. But his appearance for the 4th of July was a great PR move.

It was on network television and in primetime so it couldn't be all bad.

yeah it really is a shame the ratings for that have NOT been released yet eh? nice try. They are expecting 10 million viewerws which is what would be on par with CSI or last years Boston Pops special.
