As it turns out, Dave may have misspoke a bit....
That event is in Huntington Beach, and while Dave mentions the Goldenwest Ballroom, which is in Norwalk (23 miles away), there actually used to be another club right down the road in Huntington Beach called the Golden Bear that Van Halen played as well during their club days....

Wow, Dave out in public and being all talkie when they put the camera on him. Sure would be nice if he had something new to talk about. I don't know....maybe like a new record or a song or maybe even a show here and there. Oh well, at least he remembers all the old lines to his interview responses.American by birth.
