Pluto is a Paramount company. Pluto does have CNN in it's lineup. Seems odd to license it to a competitor owned by NBC or CBS.

That's another reason I don't think there will be more mergers. Every studio has their tentpole franchises and at this point it'll be tough to come up with the cash to get the companies together. Maybe Netflix gets snatched up. Hulu is already Disney/Fox with NBC Universal as minorty shareholder. WBDiscovery has said they're going more unscripted reality, they are supposedly bleeding cash.

I keep hearing "Apple to buy Sony" rumors but on the hardware side that doesn't make sense to me.

I only pay for Prime and Disney+. I guess I got AppleTV free with the Macbook Air I bought last month but I haven't looked at what's on there.

The rumors about Apple I think are because they have some good stuff but not very much of it so everyone assumes they will buy some since they are richer than most countries.

At the moment I'm paying for Netflix, NOW(HBO for the UK basically), Amazon and Apple (I think). That's $40 a month which mounts up I guess but then there are 5 of us. Anything else I steal on torrents.

I understand that it mounts up over the year but here it's $5 for a beer in a bar and the cinema is $15 so in terms of hours of entertainment I think most of this stuff is ok value.

I put a hurting on Amazon and the free shipping. Tires, heavy car parts...

I watch more YouTube than anything else.
