The Man Who Shot Former NFL Player Joe McKnight Is Being Charged With Second Degree Murder
Bansky Gonzalez,UPROXX 18 hours ago
When former NFL player Joe McKnight was tragically gunned down in December in an apparent road rage incident, there seemed to be more questions than answers. Now, two months later, the man who admitted to shooting McKnight is facing a murder charge for pulling the trigger.
The shooting allegedly occurred after an incident on the Crescent City Connection bridge in New Orleans lead both men to pull over, and McKnight apparently exited his vehicle and approached Gasser’s. WWL-TV in New Orleans reports “statements from authorities said blood was found on the inside panel of the passenger-side door” indicating that McKnight may have tried to enter Gasser’s vehicle, and experts predict the infamous Stand Your Ground law will play into Gasser’s defense.
Initial reports that Gasser stood over McKnight and screamed at him after shooting him proved unfounded, and no video of the incident is known to exist. Gasser reportedly handed his gun over to police at the scene of the shooting and was initially released without being charged. If convicted, Gasser would face a sentence of life imprisonment.

Nason said his friends gave him a boost onto the second-level deck of the home, and that he injured his ankle when making the 10-foot jump back down. He told police he heard 2 loud bangs as Embertson drove away from the home. As they were headed down the driveway, Embertson said, "I think I've been hit," before losing consciousness. Nason continued driving the car until they were stopped by the deputy responding to Petterson's 911 call.

How do you guys know he wasn't going to get an AR 15 out of his car and seek some revenge for the broken ankle? Or Uncle Joe's shotgun?
just another teen drug addict who was just turning his life around......

It's called sampling. If you sample the whole US you probably have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than being attacked by a bear. If you are in bear country that sample condences and since it's people going into the woods, nobody has kept track of how many have gone in to a certain area. Let's just put it this way. Our home owner association tells people not to put bird feeders out with bird seed in them because it attracts bears to the subdivision. Now we get a lot of people in here during the summer tourist season. The bears go into the more remote areas to get away from all the people. If you hike in certain areas, chances are pretty good you are going to stumble onto a bear.

There was a rumor a plane full of pot crashed into Lake Shasta in Northern California in the late 70s and bails of pot would float up to the surface every so often. A couple of my brother's friends went up there and hid in the woods hoping to find some. One of them claimed he was running through the woods and a bear clothes lined him knocking him unconscious. More likely he ran into a low hanging tree branch. Turns out the rumors were true but it was a different lake in Central California inside Yosemite.
