Of course the biggest fairy tale being sold is that Trump has any substantial relationship with Putin. This is cooked up by people who thought Hillary was a sure win and can't accept the loss. There has to be some reason Trump won and so the whole Putin hacked the election fairy tale was created and spread far and wide.

Palin is no longer capable of giving a coherent speech of any meaningful length. Her meandering, semi-coherent 2015 CPAC speech resulted in people walking out before she could finish. With her teleprompter malfunctioning she was unable to do anything other than stand there and awkwardly recite names and phrases such as "Clinton", "Obama", "Saul Alinsky", "socialism" and try to connect them together in her typical 'liberals are communists and traitors' formula. Her act has just become tiresome even for those who found it refreshing in 2008. After quitting her day job (you know, Governor of Alaska) in 2009 and then whiffing on throwing her hat in the ring for the last two election cycles, Palin's influence and drawing power was on the wane well before Trump even declared his candidacy. Her endorsement of Trump came off as small-change and fairly meaningless as opposed to 2012 when people were wondering if she would run or who she would support.

She 's undertaken so many money and attention-grabbing ventures since 2008 that have squandered whatever political influence or power she had in the fall of 2008, the net effect of which has many conservative activists understandably turned off by her presence now: she traded a political future in elective office for the spoils of celebrity, just like Mike Huckabee. And now, just like Huckabee, only a very small core conservative audience has any interest in what she has to say. Palin and Huckabee are both total non-factors within the party in terms of having any meaningful influence or sway. They aren't even ratings-boosting 'gets' for a political panel show anymore.
