Nobody goes on public access TV to make money. Alex hated George W Bush and went on public access TV to attack him. Once Alex discovered he could draw an audience and people would pay him it created a monster. Grifting can be extremely lucrative. Tucker is just a more polished grifter. The thing is, he’s the boss. He no longer has to answer to some network. He’s now the hated Tucker and he loves it.
