Solar Variability is currently in a setting against heating; the sun has been quiescent for the last 50 years and yet the last 50 years is where much of the global heating has occurred.

Albedo change especially in the Arctic where light colored ice is replaced by dark ocean. Land use changes also provide some albedo change and more carbon dioxide.

There is no orbital change that could cause heating or cooling. Orbital changes of course are what cause major ice ages.
