    MTV Van Halen Lost Weekend Revisited

    At the height of their popularity, in 1984 MTV launched a competition to spend a weekend with Van Halen.


    Over a million postcards were sent in and the winner was a 20 year old guy from Pennsylvania called Kurt.

    Recently an undedited video of the weekend was uploaded to YouTube


    Slightly surprising photo at 12:24...

    Around the same time Kurt was interviewed at length on the Dave and Dave Unchained Podcast.

          I'm not aware of any other footage like this, you are onstage with Van Halen.

          Dave grabbing Kurt before he is dragged into the crowd and eaten alive by them makes me smile too...
