    No, not at all.

However, if climate change could be limited to a temperature rise of 1.5C - the very ambitious goal included in the global Paris agreement - the losses of insects are far lower.

Not to overstate the obvious here shemale, but after reading your wonderful contributions to this conversation it's obvious that you couldn't find your ass with both hands behind your back.

At UM commencement, Al Gore urges graduates 'to reclaim the integrity of American democracy'

Gore, nowadays best known for his advocacy to fight global warming that earned him a Nobel Prize in 2007, urged the graduates to vote in large numbers in the coming years, suggesting that America’s “experiment” with the Trump administration should, like some scientific ventures, “be terminated early for ethical reasons.”

It's Springtime and the leftist parade of losers and lunatics and has-beens is in full swing at college commencement ceremonies all across the land.

This guy is really pathological. Not only was his thesis proven wrong but last time I checked I don't live in a democracy.

I don't believe in violence, but the only way I see concepts such as equality taking root are when people are ready to fight for them. Physically. Counting on the elite to divest themselves of their money and power in the interests of "doing the right thing" for the greater good is a sure-fire loser argument that will get you subjected to ridicule, and little else. Only when their personal physical security is threatened will things change. And it will be violent. And bloody. And possibly the last war.

    Yes, we have.

So how much $$$$cash$$$$ will turn the temp down 5 degrees according to the models?

Will that be enough or are you going to come back later for more?

Estimates to sort it out are only around 1 or 2% of GDP so even if you weren't sure it will happen worth it for the insurance factor. Do you think your home will actually burn down? Do you have trailer insurance anyway?

That's the wrong way around though, you really need to think about how much it will cost not to, especially in somewhere like Florida.

Again with the same crap. Insurance against what? Where is the sky falling now?

It's all about green. Long green.

Green Climate Fund may ask donors for a refill in 2019: director

LISBON (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - The Green Climate Fund, set up to help developing countries tackle climate change, could seek to refill its coffers in 2019, a year which is likely to see “a huge amount of attention on climate finance”, said the fund’s executive director.

Howard Bamsey, a former Australian diplomat, said the fund could reach the trigger point for its replenishment process later this year if the share of available funds it has allocated for projects reaches 60 percent.

The fund began making investment decisions in 2015, with pledges from donor governments of $10.3 billion.

But it is expected to receive only about $8 billion of that after U.S. President Donald Trump - a climate change skeptic who plans to pull out of the Paris climate accord - indicated he would not make good on the remaining $2 billion of the $3 billion promised by his predecessor.

Well this idiot claims he has some ties to oil and gas, so he doesn't give a shit if his trailer sinks into a swamp as long as he gets dividends. This despite the fact that even most of big oil companies are acknowledging that man-made global climate change is real and is effecting their operations...

Well... nobody ever accused climate science deniers of being the sharpest tools in the shed. Redneck houseboats might hold up well during a routine flood, but they ain't going to be a lot of use in a Cat 5 hurricane.

Haha!! Not too many things do well against a Cat 5 hurricane. Especially trailers and small boats. If your redneck hideaway is a reinforced concrete dome then you should be fine but rednecks don't like concrete. They like lumber and roofing tin and they like to screw their own kin.

That thing would be fucked in a Cat 2. Travel trailers go to shit in several hard rains and tend to rot easily...

That's ok. No need for insurance. You just go to an undamaged area and share some good moonshine with the good people there and when they are drunk, you steal someone's trailer, their chickens and their daughter.

You guys are hilarious. I really am amazed at the sheep mentality. You just can’t get through with their own words. Three letter word: Jobs. Or You didn’t build that. Or Trump is an animal.

For any of those people that are visiting the site for the first time and are interested in the conversation one way or the other, they may be confused.

In the 70s, all the same idiots were worried about global cooling. They all said the science is clear, we’re in a major cooling period and it’s going to cause major problems worldwide. The solution: government control of the energy sector and the economy.

But the data didn’t support that theory.

Then the same idiots shifted to global warming. They all said the science is clear, were in a major warming period and it’s going to cause problems worldwide. The solution: government control of the energy sector and the economy.

But the data doesn’t support that theory either. So the term has shifted to climate change. The solution: government control of the energy sector and the economy. It literally was a brilliant move because the science of climate change can never be disproved. If it gets wet or dry: climate change. If it gets hot or cold: climate change. It’s always right.

20 years of satellite data and weather balloon data doesn’t support that theory either.

The solution: government control of the energy sector and the economy.

And now: The gate keepers from the flat earth society responses…

Well here's the reality Jack. The leadership of the Democratic Party are so radical that they have driven the more traditional working class Democrats to not bothering to vote, voting Libertarian, or voting Republican. So who won the primaries in the Democratic Party? Some real radicals who have no chance in hell of winning in the November election. This will result in big Republican wins and when Mueller sees the Democrats have lost the House of Representatives his investigation ends because there is no point of continuing it. Trump will be a two term president and the Republicans will continue to win into the 2020's. The Democrats have really blown it and if they continue moving left I'm not sure the party is going to survive. Not that the Republicans are all that great but man, the Democrats keep steering for the ice bergs and are hitting them hard. One thing you can bet on. Lot's of noise coming from the ship blaming everyone else except themselves. Stop breathing Jacksmear. You are putting CO2 into the atmosphere and that is going to kill us all!

Exactly the opposite of that is true. The so-called "leadership" of the Democratic party - who literally called themselves the "Democratic Leadership Council" until that brand became toxic (like Blackwater, Cambridge Analytics, Phillip Morris, etc.) They now call themselves "Third Way". But they still aren't actually Democrats and they cannot lead. Which is why they are losing so many traditional Democratic votes (like mine)

So who won the primaries in the Democratic Party? Some real radicals who have no chance in hell of winning in the November election.
The Harry Truman rule still applies... Given the choice between a Republican and a "Democrat" who acts like a Republican, the voters will choose the Real Republican every time. But an actual Democrat against a Republican - assuming the voters can actually vote, and the ballots are actually counted... it would be a national landslide for Democratic wins. As it is with the current primary season, most of the wins have been from candidates endorsed by Our Revolution, Justice Democrats, and Democracy For America. Or in other words, the organizations founded by Bernie Sanders, Cenk Uygur, and Howard Dean. While the Hillbot controlled "establishment" party organizations are failing to produce results. Except when they run against a literal pedophile like they did in last year's Alabama Senate race.

This will result in big Republican wins and when Mueller sees the Democrats have lost the House of Representatives his investigation ends because there is no point of continuing it. Trump will be a two term president and the Republicans will continue to win into the 2020's.
I believe you're going to see a move for ImOrangment in 2019 regardless of which party controls Congress. Because Cheeto is hurting the Republican party, and the party that claims St. Jellybean won the Cold War is going to look pretty damn silly proclaiming Putin's Orange Bitch as their new hero.

The Democrats have really blown it and if they continue moving left I'm not sure the party is going to survive. Not that the Republicans are all that great but man, the Democrats keep steering for the ice bergs and are hitting them hard.
Again, opposite world. It's the right wing Clinton cult within the Democratic Party that lost over 1000 seats nationwide, who lost the courts for a generation, and who lost the White House to a cartoonish Orange Russian Bitch. Bernie Sanders is the most popular political figure in America for a reason.... because he sounds like a traditional FDR Democrat. Half of the voters didn't bother to show up in 2016 because NEITHER of the two right wing tools were acceptable. Give them a candidate who represents the values which ACTUALLY made America Great (1933 - 1980) and they will show up to vote again.
