The reality is most these politicians don’t give a ratt’s ass about the kids. If they did they wouldn’t rush to politicize the event before the bodies are even cold. It’s about political positioning. Period. It’s why I just don’t bother following the news when these things happen. It’s the same arguments and banter. Oh let’s pressure Trump into going along with some gun control measures and hopefully that will alienate him with his base and give us a better shot at wining in the next election. Or the gun lobby and manufactures want to arm everyone down to the school janitor. Oh and buy lots of extra ammo.

I think maybe the most harmful thing that comes out of these shootings apart obviously for the victims, is this bullshit safety theater. Literally millions of kids going through fucking pointless exercises in what to do if there was a shooter incident at their school.

It's like the dark version of having classes in how to manage your finances after a lottery win being taught to all kids. It's just stupid and going to stress them out for no good reason at all. Also I heard this week second hand that at least some of these classes now involve instruction to the kids that if they are in such a 1 in a million situation they shouldn't use their phones in case that sets off a bomb.

Stupid beyond fucking belief.

Our chief of police wanted our schools to lock the doors but the school district said they didn't want to make the schools a prison. Statistically these kind of shootings don't happen often. If it bleeds it reads and it's something to politicize. Between the media and the politicians they both create a lot of stupidity. That creates the theater. Bumpstocks will be banned and bullet proof back packs for kids will be sold. We will make a new duck and cover commercial. If you hear shooting get under your desk!

I'm trying to figure Trump out. Since he's the first internet troll to become president, I think he's trolling the Democrats right now. Feinstein sure looked happy sitting next to Cheeto thinking her dreams finally are going to come true. That's until Trump changes his mind the last minute and blue balls the old witch. Haha! He probably loves seeing the pro gun people freak out thinking he's going to break his campaign promises. Trump the troll.
