I cringe to think of what Ed pays in property tax for his estate off of Coldwater. Lot's of rich kids living off of trust funds. It's a different world than most people live in. Some go to college and even graduate but that doesn't mean they are doing anything important. Many do artsy fartsy stuff to deal with their boredom. Doesn't bother me. I don't think EVH is worth that much. Who knows how much EVH Gear brings in. Ed has a large estate in the Hollywood hills and a house in Malibu. The taxes alone are substantial and maintenance and insurance aren't cheap either. You are right also. Janie will be the inheritor of the wealth unless Eddie has specified something in his will which who knows if Eddie cares about such things. Wolfie could be kicked to the curb. I've seen it. I've seen kids of wealthy parents party on dad's money and when the parents are gone they fight over the inheritance. They often burn through whatever money they get quick and end up being druggies. I even saw one such person suicide themselves when the money is gone. So yeah Wolf would be smart to educate himself with his dad's money. Who knows how smart he really is. You don't get into the good schools without good grades and high test scores. But Wolfgang has nothing to sell music wise, plus that industry isn't what it was. I used to work for a firm that did estate planning. Just because someone made a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean they hung onto that money. I have seen so many people that should have had nice retirements but unfortunately they got the wrong financial advice or manager or just blew it themselves. You have no idea where anyone is financially until you look at their equity and liabilities and their cash flow.
