Given what he and his family been subjected to... I believe his anger is quite justified. How should one react to such a shit-fest?

When President Donald Trump announced Kavanaugh’s selection to fill the Supreme Court vacancy, these were the first three sentences Kavanaugh uttered to introduce himself to the American public:

'Mr. President, thank you. Throughout this process, I’ve witnessed firsthand your appreciation for the vital role of the American judiciary. No president has ever consulted more widely, or talked with more people from more backgrounds, to seek input about a Supreme Court nomination.'
The problem with lying is that if you do it a lot then people start to not believe you. This guy who is clearly desperate to get the job bullshits like a dodgy politician.

Fox News contributor fired after calling Brett Kavanaugh's accusers 'lying skanks'

              nydailynews.com

A Fox News contributor lost his gig at the network after attacking the women who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

Kevin Jackson went on a Twitter tirade Thursday during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, attacking Christine Blasey Ford and the two other women who have gone public with claims about the Supreme Court justice nominee.

“Feminists are their own worst enemies, and enemy of women, Also, they want men to NEVER be believed. I'm not succumbing,” he tweeted. “TO HELL with the notion that women must be believed no matter what. Lying skanks is what these 3 women are, and we ALL know more.”

He also said Ford, a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University, has a “BE degree.”

“It's not a Bachelors of Science, but a BOVINE EXCREMENT degree,” he wrote.

Fox News told the Daily News that Jackson had been fired from his gig as a contributor following the tweets.

“His comments on today’s hearings were reprehensible and do not reflect the values of FOX News,” a network spokesperson told the Daily News in a statement.

Jackson, who has guest-hosted shows on “Outnumbered” and “Fox & Friends,” has recently appeared on the network to talk about “the Kaepernick Effect” after President Trump blasted NFL players who kneeled during the National Anthem in protest of police brutality. He also attacked Sen. Elizabeth Warren after she said that Trump won the presidential election because of “an ugly stew of racism.”

"Leave it to a woman who faked herself as being an American Indian to tell Donald Trump about racism," he said on the show in April.

Jackson did not immediately return a request for comment.

Jesuit Catholics say it's time to withdraw Rapey Brett's nomination!

And since he went to a Jesuit high school, that should really make him cry.... AGAIN.

American Bar Association: Delay Kavanaugh until FBI investigates assault allegations

Washington (CNN) The American Bar Association is calling on the Senate Judiciary Committee to halt the consideration of President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh until an FBI investigation is completed into the sexual assault allegations that have roiled his nomination.

In a strongly worded letter obtained by CNN Thursday, the organization said it is making the extraordinary request "because of the ABA's respect for the rule of law and due process under law," siding with concerns voiced by Senate Democrats since Christine Blasey Ford's decades-old allegations became public.

"The basic principles that underscore the Senate's constitutional duty of advice and consent on federal judicial nominees require nothing less than a careful examination of the accusations and facts by the FBI," said Robert Carlson, president of the organization, in a Thursday night letter addressed to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein.

"Each appointment to our nation's Highest Court (as with all others) is simply too important to rush to a vote," Carlson wrote. "Deciding to proceed without conducting additional investigation would not only have a lasting impact on the Senate's reputation, but it will also negatively affect the great trust necessary for the American people to have in the Supreme Court."

The comments are striking because the organization gave Kavanaugh its highest rating of unanimous, "well-qualified" for the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh himself touted that rating at Thursday's emotionally-charged hearing where he denied Ford's sworn testimony that he attempted to rape her when they were teenagers.

Kavanaugh noted he was "thoroughly vetted" by the ABA.
"For 12 years, everyone who has appeared before me on the D.C. Circuit has praised my judicial temperament," Kavanaugh said Thursday. "That's why I have the unanimous, well qualified rating from the American Bar Association."

In the letter, the ABA president says the Senate must remain "an institution that will reliably follow the law and not politics," saying a "thorough FBI investigation will demonstrate its commitment to a Supreme Court that is above reproach."
Republicans have rejected Democratic calls for an FBI probe and are planning to hold a committee vote Friday before moving the nomination to the floor this weekend.

Ha! Ha! Leave everything the same except make Kavanaugh a Democrat and the Dems would be defending him. Everything is so hyperpartisan right now it’s ridiculous. The days of negotiating anything are over. Everyone is going to hunker down on their side until something blows out.

                            'Everyone'?

This is Trump language, a judge should be much more careful in their statements. It's like saying 'everyone who has met me for the last 12 years has liked me', even in the highly unlikely event of that being true you can't know if it is.

There is a bit of truth in that when you remember the number of feminists that came out against Lewinski back in the day when Clinton was threatened. Bill Maher was saying that Clinton was the victim of a predatory woman and so on.

That said the Democrats may not have the high ground but they aren't as far down the slope. For example Al Franken resigned over very little IMHO while Orange 45 has over 20 claims of sexual harassment against him.

If you look at the real core issue at the heart of this fight... fear of a potential change to the established legal president surrounding women's reproductive rights... ie, Roe vs Wade then once the competing "truths" were laid out all that was left to use emotions to weigh which truth was more compelling. Given the core issue... emotions are a critical component.

Sadly, there's no pending actions imminently heading to the SCOTUS that threatens Roe vs Wade. The issue may not face a challenge anytime in the next decade or longer.

But if you look at the despicable strategy that drove the Democrats to adopt this method of challenging this appointment... there's no "high ground" to be claimed. It's just shameful and an embarrassment to the nation.

The confirmation process continues today with the Committee vote and a Senate floor vote will most likely occur next week. The only unknown will be if new "low ground" will be dug up...
