In the beginning of March the band will be announcing an eleven date reunion tour ( five of them will be taking place in Las Vegas , on December), the line up is still the latest one with Wolfie on the bass, but Michael Anthony will be joining them to play the Jack Daniels solo and would be singing somebody get me a Doctor. They almost agreed to include Spam for singing two songs, but this finally did not come to terms. This is not the final tour, it´s the prelude for a 2021 final world tour that luckily d include the original line up.-

A major rumor about Van Halen’s reunion tour has leaked. Originally broken by MetalheadZone, someone claiming to be a Warner/Chappell Music employee took to social media earlier to release the following statement. It should be noted that his identity/employment status hasn’t been verified, so this should be taken as a rumor. The full statement can be viewed below. Eddie Trunk recently discussed the rumored issues between Sammy Hagar and Van Halen. Foo Fighters are rumored to have a surprising role in the reunion.

“Van Halen will be touring in 2019. As you know, I work at Warner, and we have, by being the label of many incredible artists, information from their management.

An official announcement is coming VERY soon, but here’s what you need to know, to clarify the rumors of recent months, including this return more or less awkwardly announced by David Lee Roth.

– This is not a tour itself, but 6 dates in American stadiums, during the summer to come.

– The band will be going to Las Vegas for 5 additional dates, in December.

– It’s not a farewell tour.

– The line up is the same as the last years: Eddie, Alex, Wolfie, and David.However, to answer the rumors of reformation of the original line up, YES Michael Anthony will be of the part, but it will be only appearances with each concert, featuring, at a given moment of the concert … indeed, Mike will come on stage with his bass Jack Daniels and begin his famous bass solo, before playing “somebody get me a doctor”, which he will sing himself, as in 1998 and 2004. I saw them live back in 2015 and they were duller than a plastic pic-nic knife. What makes you think they would be any better now? Not the original lineup and they are in their 60's now and are not know for being as touring band in the past 20 years. No new material and none on the horizon. This tour is to pay for Ed's Ferrari's and his failure to sell his shitty amps and guitars. Basically this is a "Ed needs to pay off his creditors tour."
