They ran out of demo material from the 1970's to record?

Was hopeful at the time that ADKOT (am assuming we're talking about that and not the Tokyo Dome album) would be followed-up by another studio album down the line.

      Now...Van Halen just seems...over.

I was hopeful they'd take the momentum from 07/08 and release something. I loved ADKOT, but it's disappointing that that was it.

Eventually, you have to get off the roller coaster... leave the amusement park and go home...

Yeah, though it's been a while since Bob Weir has toured under that name. He's been too busy doing the "Dead & Company" tours with John Mayer playing Jerry's guitar parts (which ironically enough has worked out better than I could have imagined).

Last time I saw Ratdog was at Bumbershoot 2001. They played the same day that DLR did.

Thankfully, Sammy Hagar and his Waborita Chickenfoot Circle are all still healthy and ready to give us plenty of thrilling rock music for years to come...

Suddenly, a global pandemic doesn't seem so terrible by comparison.

Let's just give it a rest on Van Halen. They did a lot of cool stuff, and had a great run. They're big boys; do something else. Roth has reinvented himself several times. I'm sure the Van Halen sisters can play something else.
