Rolling Stone Revises Their Top 500 Albums Of All Time

While I can agree with much in the Top 10, this was a political correct beauty contest on a lot of these albums.

Still at least 2 pedophiles in the top 20.

To save anyone else going through the shit show apparently there are 291 albums that are better than Van Halen 1 including Destiny Child and no other Van Halen albums make the top 500.

Judging by the number of Bowie and Prince albums things may improve if/when one of them die...

As usual, the rankings are total bullshit, but that's standard for one of these Rolling Stone polls, so no surprise there.

Biggest flaw in the list is way too many greatest hits/compilation albums. Those really don't belong on the list, as they aren't really albums as such. I might make an exception for the Hank Williams compilation, since he never made an actual album. Or Elvis' Sun Sessions, as he never made an album on that label. Other than that, they should stick with albums that were actually recorded AS albums. Which would probably also include going with albums by The Beatles/Stones/Clash/etc. as they were originally released in the UK, as opposed to the butchered versions released in the US.

I just skipped to 50-1; ain't nobody got time fuh that. Shocker Rolling Stone didn't put anything by U2 as #1 or even in the top 10.
