You should look into the amount of disinformation and propaganda both Russia and China are putting into our information streams. It's not even about getting Trump elected a lot of it is just to muddy the waters to make it look like democracy doesn't work as it's a threat to their own systems. Try and find sources that work in intelligence and spying, not politics. It's too difficult to hack the counting systems but it's much easier to spread rumors that you have.Comment

I'm not sure how clever the Florida projections are but it's usually the rural vote that comes in last and I've watched enough of these when the Republicans creep in at the end.
Best chance for Biden to win Florida is old people not wanting to die of Covid.Comment

Kids here do a module in history on US civil rights and I was trying to explain to them today why Alabama with 1/4 population being black and one of the poorest states in the US is a certainty for Trump.
It's not that easy, I ended saying it was something to do with extreme religion/superstition.Comment

The florida panhandle's polls close later than the rest of the state so those precincts usually come in late. Unfortunately that's the "redneck" part of the state so that favors Cheeto. The only supporters he really has in South Florida would be the aging Batista Fan Club Cubans who have 50 years of BCE/CIA brainwashing telling them that even a hard right "democrat" like Biden is somehow a "commie socialist".
