The Errol Flynn Dashing Swashbuckler Thread

Am watching a bluray of The Sea Hawks.....this and Captain Blood are two of the greatest pirate movies ever made.

One thing I am noticing....how much has been cut out from the version usually aired on TCM and stuff.

It is a truly violent film with lots of death, crushing, shooting, stabbing, fire, all sorts of evil and shit.....

    And his ho....

She hears he got caught and is in chains, and she thinks...."I'll never get to suck his penis now...."

Of course later on they get together and she does all sorts of nasty shit to him.

Something else is cool though....there is yet another film starring Errol Flynn, Claude Rains, Basil Rathbone, and Alan Hale Sr., and that is Robin Hood.

Got that on bluray and will watch it over the weekend. More phallic symbolism by the sword.....and bitches with the heaving bosoms and shit. By the way, what is this fucking "heaving bosoms" crap. Do these chicks just stand around breathing heavily or some shit?

Wait a minute....there is a FIFTH actor who was in both films...the actress who plays the old crone handmaiden of the young, hot chick is
    in both films as well.

    Robber Hood is in color.

A peasant walked down the path one day on his way to the village.

Suddenly, a man dressed in green leaped out of a tree and landed in front of him.

Robber Hood: "Ho, my good man, I am Robber Hood! I steal from the rich and give to the poor. Here! Have this bag of gold!!"

    Peasant: "Blimey, I'm RICH!"

    Robber Hood: "Stick 'em up!"

Come to think of it, Errol Flynn was sorta like Roger Moore's interpretation of James Bond.

Dashing, willing to kill to defend himself, but a bit of a fucking poofter.
