Gas will be back up to NObama era prices of $4-$5 a gallon, very soon.

United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters Endorses Vice President Joe Biden for President

Monday, January 18, 2021The United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) issued the following statement today following the news that the Biden-Harris Administration plans to rescind the permit and effectively end construction on the Keystone XL pipeline:

“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1. Let me be very clear: When built with union labor by the men and women of the United Association, pipelines like Keystone XL remain the safest and most efficient modes of energy transportation in the world. Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction,” said Mark McManus, General President of the United Association.

I mean the Dow JIA falling to under half its then high might have had something to do with that?

No, I'm thinking in terms of the immediate loss of 11,000 jobs with Keystone and the additional 10's of thousands of secondary job losses associated with those. then the 100,000 job losses in New Mexico due to suspending permits in federal lands...

Then thinking about how much we have to continue mining coal and using it for a power source because the idiots choked off the natural gas production that could have replaced dirty coal burning power plants with a cleaner source.

Nothing to do with Wall Street... consider this simple logic... is cutting off the supply of fossil fuels in use today the most economical and efficient way to drive towards renewable energy. All that does is kill jobs, drive up prices for everything and will actually limit the investment in renewables by killing the economy.

Consider using the huge growth in our economy due to global leadership in fossil fuels to fund the development and conversion to renewable sources domestically. Making that investment is far easier and less destructive than forcing us to starve our energy sources in hope we'll go buy and electric car or put solar panels on our houses. It's a lot easier and affordable to invest when you got the money to do so...

Well, you're thinking wrong as most of those "jobs" are temporary construction jobs and the pipeline will be staffed by a few dozen along with some contractors. Hardly much of dent.

A better idea would be to employ those construction guys into some national infrastructure repair and renewal plan so we stop embarrassing ourselves nationally in comparison to European and Asian countries with pristine roads...

The natural gas production has not been "choked off". It's just harder to deliver, but we still get plenty. And you voted for the fossil fuel industry by voting for Trump as he artificially pumped the coal industry, which last time I checked also employs a few people...

There are other alternatives like solar and wind, but there are almost no issues as far as energy needs as even fracking here is largely abandoned in parts of PA because there is no need or market for it...

You buttfucking MAGA tards do realize that the oil that comes from Alberta tar sands is tar oil which require high temperatures to distill into gasoline. Your $4/gallon would be to cover those cost, idiot. Hardly feasible much less profitable for transportation consumption. So there went that argument. Much of that tar oil is not consumable and is exported to places like Kchi-NA for industrial use to make shit products like buttfucking MAGA but at Walmart to fill up their shitbox suburban homes with al sorts of KchiNA made crap. Corrupt American buttfuckers who want to shit all over the environment are the middle man who stand to make billions by pumping that toxic shit over sacred grounds and why they pump disinformational shit into your tiny, tiny MAGA amoeba brains like the Fox Spews watching zombies you are.

If you're so concerned that your shitty diesel Ford F-150 won't cause cancer in children that go bathe in those tar sands. That place is more toxic than Rocky Flatts. Prove me wrong how safe it is.

Go for a swim. Gawd knows MAGA tards rarely bathe themselves.
