It treats me well, that's all that matters. It would take me 1/3rd of a year of constant saving (not spending a penny) to get a gibson... But I'd die from starvation!

You gotta look into some pickups for it though. If Epi bass pups are anything like their guitar models.
Nice piece of wood, Same as a Gibson for all practical purposes (or is that Dolphins) exept for the cheap pots, smaller guage wiring, plastic nut, and pickups. These can be changed out one at a time and you've got a Banging guitar on your hands.
I've done it with a $500 Epi Les Paul. It made a difference like night and day.
and for those who think that there isn't much of a difference. I suggest you sit down in the store with a gibson anything and it's Epiphone counterpart. You'll figure it out.
