Do fuck off, you neoliberalist tool. That myth of the American Dream of sucuess if you work hard at it is a lie purported by capitalist institutionalism. People work hard every god damn day and get little out of it. The only people who talk like you do are entitled assholes who have hand out by a rich daddy or they have conned people out of their own money - like the F A T orange shithead you voted for. I have no doubt Eddie conned the people who worked for him out their "hard earned" money. That's not capitalism you fucking idiot, it's theft. No question you stole from others and continue to do so - under the guise of capitalism.
Get the fuck out of here you lazy F A T Walmart shopping Cheerios binging fuck monkey.

Not sure what you are talking about but it sounds like you should try and fact check that as it sounds unlikely to be true.
Try and find independent reliable sources for information. If something sounds extreme look in a fact checking website to see if it is actually true.
A good sign is if they run stories which are bad for both sides not just one.
I've posted things before which I found out later were just not true and usually it's because they are negative about someone or thing I don't like. That's when you have to be at your most careful.
It's no lie... I didn't come from money. My father fought in WWII, drove a truck for a living and retired when his top income was just over $30k... just about minimum wage today. Bought and paid for his own house, that my mother lives in still, raised 4 kids and lived to be 91.
I've been working over 47 years, started out earning $2.00/hr... own my home outright and haven't been given a dime from anyone... nor conned anyone for anything.
The system works... if you have the motivation to do so too.
Libertardian ideology everybody. It can't be cured.
It can work but in the system you talk about you need to not be unlucky in where you start or what happens to you outwith your control despite your motivation.
Social mobility in the USA and the UK is actually not great compared to a lot of other countries. Usually countries with a lot more stuff seen as left wing in the US. If you don't have to worry about healthcare or education costs of course it is much easier to go from humble beginnings. Poor people usually die poor and motivation isn't going to help a lot of the time.
You have a much better chance of the 'American dream' happening to you in Germany or France than the USA these days.

There are a hell of a lot rich people who are dumb and lazy.

Where you start the journey can be a bit more challenging... as well as the times/place. But I honestly believe that motivation and being unwilling to just accept your socio-economic position plays a strong part in where that journey takes you... no matter where you begin.
Healthcare and education costs were not factors for me... not because any of that was provided to me by anyone... it wasn't. You went to a doctor only if you had to and you paid for it. Education was expensive back in the 70's/80's but I needed to work first to provide a place to live and eat. So education wasn't even a consideration much.
It takes some bravery and for me moving around the country to build my career. Most folks don't venture far from where they started... allow themselves to dig into their economic rut and stay there. It really doesn't have to be the case for everyone. Very few advance due to luck... those that do advance it's generally motivation, hard work and being willing to to make it happen.
