"Nothing gets a yak over a suspension bridge faster than 'Back in the Saddle Again' by Aerosmith" ~ DLR
This song is definitely growing on me.
Boring. Roth does a Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen and New Rider of the Purple Sage hybrid. He wrote this with Rob Zombie another desperate has-been.
I think it reflects Dave's Roy Rogers influences...
Dave started his career as a knuckle dragging, loud, drunk, caveman/troglodyte.
Now, he is refined/mature.
Dave needs to devolve.
Still love these songs from an album he won't give me yet.
No, not really. Dave was an avid reader and had a college minor degree and while he could party with the best of 'em, he was far from a simpleton drunk "caveman". There are a lot of nuances but Roth was described as the most business-like of any of the bandmembers in the early years...
This is kinda catchy, and fun, which is a Dave trademark... albeit I'd personally prefer a kickass, high octane hard rock extravaganza!!
