    So I Thought About It

If you think about it, Halloween Kills is really Halloween III but it's second film in Blumhouse's trilogy. And Halloween H20 was also Halloween III. And so was Halloween III.

And Halloween 4, Resurrection, and Halloween Ends (the third film in the Blumhouse trilogy) are all Halloween 4.

I honestly lost track of how many fucking Halloween sequels there were. But - thanks to the Pandemic - this one is actually going to be streaming on Peacock instead of having to wait until next Halloween to watch it, so it can tank at the box office first. So yeah, I'll probably get high and watch the damned thing.

Halloween Kills would be Halloween III based on the Blumhouse revamping of the narrative which runs from Carpenter's 1978 Halloween directly to the Blumhouse 2018 Halloween and now on to Halloween Kills.

Halloween H2O would also be Halloween III based on the narrative of 1978 Halloween, 1981 Halloween II and then Halloween H2O. And then Resurrection would be Halloween IV.

Halloween 4, for me, is actually Halloween III because the 1982 Halloween III was a Shapeless entry into the franchise.

Halloween 6 still sucks balls, though.

        So does Halloween 5.

        And Resurrection.

        And the two Zombie flicks.

And 2018 Halloween wasn't all that good, either.

There really hasn't been a decent one since H2O.

Whatever. Like the dumb fuck that I am, I'm going to see Halloween Kills anyway. The best I can hope for is that it is halfway decent, which most of the franchise hasn't been since 1988 Halloween 4.

Last one did pretty good at the box office. $160 million during the US/Canada theatrical run and $250 million total worldwide theatrical run. One of the more lucrative Halloween sequels in literally a couple of decades. Course, that was pre-pandemic. But, I'd be willing to bet Halloween Kills didn't cost much more than $20 million to make (and probably most - or at least half - of that went to Jamie Lee Curtis), so even if Halloween Kills only does half of what 2018 Halloween did in terms of box office, it'll be successful.

I might write a review here for this pop cheese:

Normally, I avoid Netsux crap but they have hit new lows with this one.

lovehard looks pretty dreadful based on the cover...have no idea who any of those top-billed actors are, but even with name actors substituted and everything else left the same on that cover, it wouldn't be a flick I'd be inclined to see.

The chick is from the Vampire Diaries & the Asian dude is from Silicon Valley. Have no idea who the other guy is, but it looks like Netflix is getting into the same sappy Xmas movie territory that takes over the Hallmark channel the last 3 months of the year.

I'd rather watch a Hallmark Christmas movie than lovehard. Honestly.

Yeah and you love torturing yourself. If you need some help with the electronic whips and chains in your E-dungeon, let me know. I would love to punish you myself.
