    How Non-Interesting

So I guess no one is watching the Olympics. At least not in any kind of numbers China needs for it's politics and NBC to pay everyone close to $8 billion and still not lose their collective F A T asses. Oh well.
Lot of reasons. Genocide of the Uyghurs, the Putin/Trump/Lake Erie Virus, no one at Beijing to watch, everything being run the usual Red, Chinese, Communist style. Mao would be proud.

Hitler and Joe Rogan enjoying the games

I say cancel them all immediately. Everyone take a few days off, and start over, brand new for everything. In the meantime, NBC and China can research the 1936 Berlin Olympics and copy them, do what they did. Maybe Xi could give his Davos speech again, where the US will have hell to pay if the Federal Reserve don't buy enough won tons. Cause, ya know, 1936 was such a rip roaring success for Germany.

You're welcome Peacock! You fucking assholes.

At least Peacock is streaming some actual live coverage this time around. Their summer games coverage consisted of about three live basketball games and a bunch of clips like you would find on YouTube, mixed with dumb celebrity babble.

Peacock is carrying the live feed from the USA channel as well as NBC, so that's a better selection for people who have ZERO interest in seeing fucking figure skating every goddamned night in prime time. Nothing interesting in that sport since Tonya Harding hung up her club.

Now if you want a REAL joke, the Pro Bowl is on ESPN right now..... and goddamn is it a shit show....

I'll be watching the Curling finals if the Scottish teams make it, that's about it.

I watched about ten minutes of NASCAR today. They paved over the field at LA Memorial Stadium. Cars don't even look like they're going faster than 60.

            "Most-Streamed Winter Olympics Day Ever"??

            deadline.com

NBC Releases Initial Beijing Olympics Viewership Data; Most-Streamed Winter Olympics Day Ever

With the first full day of games tucked away, NBC posted some early numbers from the Beijing Winter Olympics and the glass seems to be half full.

According to the streamer, Saturday was the most-streamed Winter Olympics day ever with 323 million minutes watched overall.

Last night’s Total Audience Delivery (TAD), a metric of total views from linear broadcast, cable channels, mobile, tablets and connected TVs, reached 13.6 million viewers. This milestone ranks as the best primetime Saturday since NBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage excluding NFL games and as the largest February primetime Saturday audience since the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Another decent metric of note: according to iSpot, NBCUniversal delivered on average 247% higher impressions per ad unit while running a 14% lower ad load.

The 2022 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony’s TAD, according to NBC, reached 16 million viewers, a million shy of the 17 million the streamer nabbed for the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony.
