Ozzy Osbourne - Live At Wings Stadium Kalamazoo, MI February 9, 1982 HQ Remaster

In case you ever wondered if there was some tomfuckery done with Ozzy's vocals on the Tribute album...

Decent though and there is a link below for a download.

    Angelboy Boots

This channel is dedicated to my favorite bootlegs and my attempt to make them as listenable as possible. Crack open a few beers, light up a joint and enjoy!

Here is a VG quality SBD recording from the Diary Of A Madman US Tour 1982 taken at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI. Today marks the 40th Anniversary of this historic show! I would also like to add that I had some help with the enhancement of this audio.
This was made possible with the help of my dear friend, OzzyRareTracks. Without him, I would not have made this as great as it is! A download link with the complete version of this show with the Diary Of A Madman Intro intact can be found below. This is the last known SBD with Randy Rhoads on the guitar. Bloomington, MN on January 15th is the only other known SBD. The show begins with Over The Mountain follwed by a crushing Mr. Crowley. You can really hear all the keys and small details throughout the show alot better in this version! Some other small noises like chatter between the band can be heard. Randy's on fire tonight with excellent versions of Goodbye To Romance, Suicide Solution and Believer. During some live solos, Randy's guitar would pan left and right with an echo effect being used. It can be best heard through a hifi stereo setup. I Don't Know is cut after the solo and No Bone Movies begins during the end of the solo. This show is a bit more complete overall than the show in Bloomington January 15th, but not as clear or defined in my opinion. To get the most out of your listening experience, you have to get drunk n' stoned and play it loud as fuck! A personal Angelboy Boots must listen and a must have for your Diary Of A Madman US Tour collection!

Way back in high school I had a cassette that I taped off the radio (King Biscuit or some such thing) of an Ozzy/Randy show that I'm 99% sure was the same exact show from the Tribute album, but definitely without vocal overdubs. Ozzy's voice was cracking, and mangling the lyrics (especially on "Believer") but considering this was about 1982 when I recorded this, and Randy had just died, I was happy to hear him playing. That tape was worn out long before they released that overdubbed CD in 1987.

This is a different show obviously, because they didn't play "Over The Mountain" at that gig, and the keyboards weren't so loud in the mix, but the vocals sound about the same as I remember from that old tape

It's funny I was just thinking nearly 40 years of listening to Ozzy live and there are always certain parts of certain songs he has never hit but you still sit there after all that time willing him on like this is going be that one time.

Relatively short drum and guitar solo's to make room for that jam thing that I don't think I've heard before, can't have Ozzy playing more than 80 minutes...

So Ozzy sells his soul to the Devil but the Devil rips him off. Sounds about right.

Interesting thing about the solo going into "Goodbye to Romance"... it's kind of a throwback to Randy's solo from the Quiet Riot days.... Goodbye to Romance wasn't officially written then yet, of course... but that riff IS how he ended the solo.....

Wow it's been pulled from YouTube, surprising for a live thing that old.

Typical Google censorship. Well, here's a little bit of actual live video from those days anyway.... unfortunately whoever filmed it seems more interested in Sarzo's retarded movements than Randy's playing.
