But the Russian Army shitting itself then then having to occupy the Ukraine, while it's economy fucks itself to death via sanctions, is a good start to its overall death...

One of the problems that Russian military is going to have is that while they have a large standing army of 168 "tactical battalions", they effectively have no strategic reserve of manpower in reality. Once they blow their wad here, they're going to have real problems and maybe NATO should consider a more militant stance...

The crewmen laughed...

The problem with Russia is you have a HUGE country full of nuclear weapons. Someone has to hold that together and keep those weapons secure. Putin was tolerated because he was useful in that role. We took the USSR down by inflating the ruble and dropping oil prices. We broke their back that way. We have kept Putin in check with oil prices. Cutting production here only helped Russia. Their economy is energy.

Anyways it's impossible to make any assessment of what's going on and why because so many players have been using that region for nefarious activity. Anyways there are power grabs from various angles right now. Saying it's Russia vs Ukraine is too simple.

Anyone getting their information from the news media or the internet doesn’t have enough information on this complicated situation to know what’s really going on. We are dealing with corrupt governments including ours. We are dealing with a failing fiat monetary system that’s all tied through a central banking system. We are dealing with a lot of world changing dynamics at once.

Such a situation raises the probability of a nuclear fuckup. That’s the biggest danger. When things snowballed before you got a world war using kinetic warfare. Today you get nuclear warfare.

When you have leaders with little brains and lot’s of bravado and political structures that exist in pampered bubbles, fuckups are the norm as well demonstrated. We keep fucking up we get the final fuckup. Maybe that’s how Darwin works.
