No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!
Wham Bam Thank You, Mam
Ukrainian forces are picking them off one-by-one. You can almost hear the voice of Hans Gruber saying "hit it again."
FlightTracker24 shows RQ-4 Global Hawk(s) flying over the skies of Poland close to the Ukrainian border. So you know the US military/NATO are relying Russian troop positions to Ukrainian forces.
Also, what military leaves their hardware this vulnerable to enemy fire? Appears the Ukrainian forces are playing it smart by not hitting the refueling tankers.
Even the North Koreans are looking at the Russian military and scratching their heads. What a needless waste of human life all for the oil of a madman and oligarchs.
Meanwhile, I'm thinking of getting myself a Russian oligarch yacht for @6 Rubles. But I'd never sail it on Lake Erie.

Former ambassador says the ‘Putin era is over’ -- but warns America to brace itself for what is coming next
Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman is blunt when commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin's future in the wake of his brutal invasion of Ukraine.
“He’s done. The Putin era is over,” Huntsman said. “The only thing we need to now understand is the level of damage he’s going to do as he goes. I think that could be substantial, and we have to be prepared for that.” The former ambassador's comments came during a speech to the Economic Club of Minnesota, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Huntsman was the chief U.S. diplomat in Moscow from 2017 to 2019 under the Trump administration. He's not at all surprised by Putin’s move on Ukraine.
“It’s very telling when you walk into Putin’s office, and you see a portrait on the wall of Peter the Great. That’s not there by accident,” Huntsman said. “There’s a sort of emotional connection Putin feels there. He’s a man of empire — not just the Soviet empire but the Russian empire.”
Huntsman believes the longer the conflict drags on, the greater the chances of escalation. “He’s [Putin] is a master of escalation. It keeps me up at night just thinking about it. Putin will continue with force, and it will get worse,” Huntsman said. “We have to be extremely careful, so this does not evolve into a confrontation where horrible weapons are introduced to the battlefield like tactical nuclear weapons.”
How the war ends is impossible to predict. Some are hopeful that the crippling effect of economic sanctions on Russia and Ukraine's much fiercer-than-expected resistance to the Russian onslaught might engender a quick end to the fighting. Huntsman isn't so sure. “Does this mean Putin begins to have second thoughts about what he’s done? No, that’s not Putin’s style. He’ll double down, and things will get rougher,” Huntsman warned. “I have feelings of tremendous unease about the days and weeks ahead hold.”
The former diplomat also has another important concern: what happens to Russia if Putin is removed from power. Huntsman says the damage already done to that country from the conflict is immense, leading to greater instability and he warns the U.S. needs to be prepared.

That was kind of ghey, slave FORD
Nah... Huntsman isn't ghey... he's Mormon. Formerly known as "the last reasonable Republican" during his failed Presidential primary run. I do agree with him that who or whatever replaces Pooty in Russia might actually be worse. Just like Pooty himself was definitely a step backwards from Gorby (or even that poor old drunk Yeltsin)
Russian General #5 Dead. "Elite Airborne Commander" popped in ambush...
Correction he was a Colonel...
Think Putin's generals are more worried about what's happening to their yachts and oil stocks then they are their own troops
The scrap iron business in Ukraine is going to be big
Now the New York Post (take that for what you will) has reported
"Morale is so low among invading Russian forces that soldiers have reportedly been shooting themselves in the legs to avoid fighting – using Ukrainian ammunition to make it appear they were hit by the defenders."
Russia is literally towing their helicopters around Ukraine. They are scraping the bottom of their helicopters along the pavement because they have no fuel left to fly them.
Might as well throw them in the bottom of Lake Erie. Would only improve the place.
Putin has his Trump rally today. He danced to Y-M-C-A in Russian like the ol' orange F A T T Y himself.
They use the same caliber ammo and the rifles are similar to identical. The ammo might have different production characteristics but I would think any wounds are believable at this point. The Russians were issuing updated AK-74 5.45mm variants but the Ukraine was in the midst of adopting an Israeli design firing the same caliber ammo. But various AK-74 types are the standard rifle with some hodge podge stuff. I saw a vid of Ukrainian "special police" (SWAT Team) carrying German rifles and firing Panzerfausts and RPG's at Russian artillery..
Everyone from the British to the US analysts have concluded that the typical Russian soldier wants none of this and the Russian Z-bullshit propaganda is only working at home where Putin controls the media. But as Russians come back from Ukraine in rail cars or in coffins, that will change the same way it did during Afghanistan...
I would add that at this point the Ukrainians probably have a lot of Russian small arms and ammo captured...
Russian snipers stupid enough to take the elevator in and office building. The Ukrainians cut power and they were sealed in in their way to the roof. No one knows what happened to them but it's rumored they were blown up Die Hard style...

The Republican Guards did put up a fight both times, but they were hopelessly outclassed in armor, tactics, and faced Allied air supremacy. They surrendered after most of their armor was destroyed and there was no hope. Unfortunately a lot of them joined the insurgency and some even went into ISIS...
Wouldn't put too much stock in the New York Post. They are like Puke Yugar - only legitimate
What's the Ukranian word for "Wolverines"??
The only people who know what is going on in the Ukraine is the people who are there. Much of the stuff we get is bullshit.
Turkey shoot
Oh, and Tommy Boy Fartman sucks
Unlike your lazy liberal claptrap of derivative news delivered by yuppie shit stains there is no talking in those clips. Plus, I'm sure The Sun paid a lot for them unlike your Puke Yuger and his tedious horseshit.
Oh, and this is great
More Russians slaughtered (Puke Yuger free!)
You know, watching this makes me wish I had invested in the American Military Industry Complex. I'd be making a killing right now in dividends.
Wasn't erasing people from history sort of a Joe Stalin thing?
I covered this; the main rifle ("personal weapon") round is the 5.45mm used in the Ak-74M and the various modified rifles using, i.e. synthetic stocks, etc. There are of course a number of AK-47/AKM derivatives that are 7.62X39mm used mainly by Ukrainian reserve and volunteer units. There is the modernized Ak-47 branded as the Ak-103 that might also be used by various units on both sides.
The 7.62X54mm "long round" is used by the PK GPMG derivatives and by snipers wielding the Dragunov or even a modernized Mosin–Nagant. I doubt there are many NATO rifles in there but some Ukrainian National Police and volunteers probably use them...
*Sigh* Do I need to explain everything around here? You know, being the cool kid is starting to be stressful. Now, watch this video. It's very informative:
There certainly would be a ton of the Soviet ammunition to use. Still a lot of 7,62x39 in Eastern Europe. I’ve shot an AK-74. It handled and shot better than I thought it was going to. I think that big muzzle break on the end of the barrel stabilizes the gun pretty well. An AKM hops around more. More recoil and the gun just feels more crude.
