That's not exactly true. Richrath left the band in 1989. "Hi Fidelity" came out in 1981, and that's the album where they went all cheese ballady. Don't remember if their album came out before or after Journey's "Escape", but they both pussied out right about the same time.

I did like some of their early stuff though.
