Atomic Punks - "Bullethead" Demo, Ralph Saenz, Steel Panther

Ralph Saenz, from Steel Panther, recorded this demo of the then unreleased Van Halen song "Bullethead" when he was in the Atomic Punks in the early 2000s. On guitar is Brian Young. Brian played guitar & bass & programmed the drums. Joe Lester sang backups.

Isn't Joe Lester the guy I wasted a couple of hours begging not to delete the original Army site? Isn't he the one that promptly hung up and hit the delete button, after I offered him whatever he wanted? Isn't he the one responsible for deleting a whole bunch of our history? If so, fuck that guy. Having said that, this is a kickass version of that song. Ralph and Brian are cool.

Yeah I think it is the same guy, the Atomic Punks bassist/band leader/least successful member. Also if this was early 2000s it must predate Brian joining Dave's band so 2001? Around the same time all that went down.

From memory that sounds exactly like a performance from a '77 bootleg I have, copied down to every last note and DLR yelp - until the end, which on the VH version ends with a mini AVH dum solo
