Rick Beato Geeks Out Over Boston's Demo Tape

The demos are actually an interesting listen, despite the poor sound quality. Would be nice if they ever got a remastered, cleaned up version, but it would be a cold day in Hell before Tom Scholz ever put that out.

Seems like they were going for an early Queen vibe on "Life Isn't Easy". Not that they are imitating Freddie Mercury or Brian May directly, but the influence is definitely there in the sound. Which didn't carry over to the album version of that song, obviously.

Also the claim in the bootleg video that "one song has never been released at all" is entirely untrue. I'm assuming they are referring to "Don't Be Afraid of Love" which was not on Boston's first album. It definitely was on their second album though.
