Too old to rock 'n' roll, too old and yet still not dead.
Take the keys away. Grandpa thinks he’s still a rock star.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!
B. Johnson is completely out of tune.
He's also completely deaf.
Watching this has a lot of echoes of the KISS concert I saw two years ago.
Not the definitive lineup, due to the age of the band and some original/definitive lineup members having been replaced.
Instruments tuned down to accommodate aging lead vocalist who can no longer sing the tunes as they were originally recorded.
Low energy level onstage generally reflected by low energy level response from audience.
Can't stay as it is ripping off the fans or the audience, because people still keep shelling out the money to see it. You're only worth as much as what you're willing to settle for.
Had I seen that type of performance from an AC/DC tribute band in a bar somewhere, I'd conclude said band needed - at a bare minimum - a lot more practice. So it should somehow be acceptable because it's some of the actual band members up there? I suppose it'll have to be for those who paid the ticket price.
Kinda pathetic seeing all these wheezing former hard rock bands becoming this day and ages answer to Sha-Na-Na, but thankfully I can go back and listen to the old albums and view the old concerts and see/hear when AC/DC used to kick ass instead of meekly licking it.
Scramby eggs and bacon.
It's hard to tell much from a bad cell phone video, but aside from Johnson's singing... where did Angus get all that blonde hair? He was practically bald on the Axl/Dc tour.
