Did he even go to high school? Took classes from the road when he was handed one of the best gigs in rock?

Wolf went to The Oakwood School which is a private school that focuses on the arts. Frank Zappa’s kids went there. No college. His dad pulled him out of school to go on the road where he had a private tutor. Valerie’s brother Patrick manages Wolf. I mean it’s quite pathetic to be an adult in your 30’s and be reffered to as the kid and have your mom call herself Wolfie’s Mom on social media. The guy acts like a kid so he is treated as such.

As I posted elsewhere, at his age Ed's best days were already behind him and he was playing on the shitty 2nd Van Hagar album.

You saw him live? You are part of the problem. He opened for Alter Bridge here. I made sure I arrived after that fat fuck played. He should be playing to empty venues. Then these bands making him even more of a charity case, wouldn’t put this entitled prick on their tours. NOBODY hates Van Halen fan more than fat boy does. Anybody that doesn’t believe this fat fucker is blocking any releases of anything VH, has their head in the sand. He knows and hates the fact that a shitty quality VH bootleg release, whether it’s 4 minutes or 90 minutes in length, garners more attention and publicity than his garbage could ever muster.

Right Now (pun intended) he has no choice but to suck up to Mike and Clichegar. Because he can’t stop what they are doing. Even though it has to be killing him that even a Van Hagar tribute band is more appealing and is selling more tickets than his shitty shows.

If Ed had packed it in after Roth left the band in 1985, or if the band with Sammy in it had (as they should have) called themselves something other than Van Halen, Van Halen's legendary status would have been virtually the same for me as it ended up being with the way things actually turned out.

To my ears, comparatively little of what Ed came up with post-1985 was of as much interest - even strictly just in terms of the guitar playing - as what he was doing circa 1978 to 1984 was. Some decent ideas here and there from Ed after Dave left, but fewer and far in between a lot of stuff that came across to me as Eddie sort of being largely on autopilot as a player after hooking up with Hagar.

If you're supposedly a grown man and still accepting being called "Wolfie," that tells us everything we need to know. Infantilism. No clue about really making the commitment to be an artist. No clue whatsoever.

I remember seeing that music video Fat Boy released like a month after his dad was put in the ground and initially thinking, "oh that's kind of nice." But quickly I began to be kinda disturbed at how morbid the whole thing was. Basically jumpstarting your career off of your father's death. Sam didn't even wait 20 minutes to tweet about it and act Holier Than Thou, despite trashing him the previous 10 years. The whole "tribute" business was the same thing. Using the death of a bandmate as a springboard. How many times does Foo Fighters need to be in the spotlight for us to get that you're so heartbroken about Hawkins' death?

Dave stayed silent save for a couple photographs and his Over the Rainbow song. Just stayed respectful without blowing smoke and making it about him. And yet he still got attacked by Fat Asses who know nothing about bootstrapping the band alongside Eddie. I think he just got tired of it. No matter what he says, he is very tied into the public noise around Van Halen. As he said, he was always the protector of the band.

Another thing the Links insider said was that Dave and the Van Halens were never friends but that they were family. Family members only get involved if there are serious struggles such as health or something financial.

And Dave apparently stepped up for Ed on both of those issues he had. After his divorce from Val and when his cancer first came about. Dave had some cancer specialists he knew in the NY area that he put forward to Ed.
A strange relationship yes but one we can all recognize when it comes to family.

Van Halen devolved into a faggy pajama party with Sammy Hagar. It really was quite horrifying.

Ed subconsciously wrote a song about his son. It’s called Donut City. Anyways Wolf and Sam are having a contest on who can be the lamest fucktard.

Dave’s uncle was a renound cancer researcher at the Houston cancer center.

Al is smart to just lay low. Wolf and Sammy will burn themselves out and then maybe some stuff can come out. It’s not a bad thing to make stuff a bit scarce and not cashing in on Ed’s death is the biggest honor you can give. Dave called Wolfie and Sam out. He’s saying nothing about Al. You can see who the assholes are.

Sam’s agent is trying to get that motherfucker on every show possible. He’s making one last hard swing at being relevant. He’s still trying to surf Ed’s death. Deep down Sam knows he’s nothing. It’s why he tries so hard to try and convince people he is. He’s just another old guy who made some money and can fly on a private jet. I live where private jets are a dime a dozen. Our airport is full of them. Eddie Van Halen has a legacy. David Lee Roth has a legacy. Sammy made some money and is forgettable. He was the front man for Van Halen and is still nothing. That drives him nuts.

Well, I wouldn’t say nothing. He painted him as a raging alcoholic bully and floated the notion that his dearly departed brother would tell Dave he hated his brother, on the regular. Granted, all brothers quarrel and say shit, but airing this was a personal barb at Al. We all know Al fucking hates Sammy as much as us and will never forgive him for the dirty laundry book he wrote. To Al, this is Dave doing the same thing.

I heard that Al may have been behind making Dave take down his Jump remake from YouTube.

I think Dave is dolling out the ass whoopings to anyone and everyone who deserves it and, true to his whacky ways, he’s going about it in ways nobody (except us) would expect.

I think Dave is frustrated over the way the Van Halen camp is now managed.

Without Ed, its no longer Ed, Al and Dave.

Alex now has to deal with Wolf and Val. Which clearly has made things complicated.
