Who the fuck was it...I think it was Foreigner. They were playing near me maybe 6 months ago. Somebody I know said they were going, said they paid x amount for the tix. The amount was up there price-wise with that of similar name bands/brands. Thing of it was, not even Mick Jones - the last guy in the band from the 1970's/early 1980's - was playing with them anymore.
So, I guess Foreigner are now one of those bizarro brand bands a la Lynyrd Skynyrd where whoever is now onstage owns the rights to the name but nobody onstage actually played on any of the Foreigner records that all the tunes comprising the setlist were taken from.
Now, even if I did have an interest in seeing a Foreigner tribute band, I tend to doubt that interest is gonna be worth $100 a ticket.
