Madonna tears a page out of DLR’s 2012 playbook.

Also she is miming so doesn't have the excuse that the AC affects her voice, maybe it was blowing some loose skin about or something...

        The thing is...

For an 80s pop star, I liked Madonna. I wasn't a huge fan...but I'd take LA ISLA BONITA or LIKE A PRAYER over a lot of the other pop crap that was coming out back in the day.

But she lost the fucking plot at some point. She's fucking crazy.

I guess not all pop (or rock) stars can age gracefully...like Bowie did.

David Bowie was cool until the day he died.

Yeah my problem isn't with the music, apart from the Bond theme she did.

It's her being a fucking asshole in just about every way I've got a problem with. She is just a terrible human being.

Even beyond all that, be it Roth or Madonna, I mean...fuck's sake, act like a goddamn old school professional. Don't lash out publicly like some pussy Gen Z'r: you get onstage, smile, shake your money-maker and do your bitching at the production staff offstage.

I remember in the late 90s she came out with Ray Of Light, and I thought it was a pretty good corner she had turned. It was more of an alternative vibe and certainly way less hyper sexualized. Flash forward a year or two and she’s doing the a horrible remake of Miss American Pie, hopping up and down on someone’s lap and flopping her tits around in the video. It’s been all over for me since then. She truly is atrocious these days.

Ray of Light is even better if you put an actual band behind it....

I liked her up until and including her Music album, which came out in...2000? 2001? After that, I can't recall a single thing she has done since...I just stopped paying attention.

She had a good 15, 16 year run of putting out good pop singles. I was never an ardent fan of hers beyond merely enjoying her stuff as pop songs.

It's kinda weird to see what she has done to her face and the way she's carrying on these days only because she struck me as being smarter or more self-aware or whatever back in the 1990's...then again, she wouldn't exactly be the first hugely famous pop star who aged badly.
