Hypothetical question: Your choice to “continue after” Dave (1985-1995)?

    Hypothetical question:

Who would have been your choice to “continue after” (*) Dave (1985-1995)?

    * No real Roth Army member should ever use the word “replace”.

I would have gone with David Glen Eisley

I always thought he did a great job on the first Giuffria album.

Does my choice mean I get flamed?

    Notes:
This thread is not intended to create heresy in the ranks.
    The question is hypothetical.
    Dave is irreplaceable.
    Dave made Van Halen.
Don't know if this is the right discussion area.
    Dave is king.

    Lemmy.

I just don't see how Eddie would have been able to make cheesy records with him whether he wanted to or not...

"Alice" from the Brady Bunch. I'm sure she couldve come up with harder hitting lyrics than Spam did. (shit my 6 year old could come up with better melodies and lyrics) Seriously though? I can't picture anyone else suited to front VH. Dave is one of a kind.

Henry Rollins. Not that he would ever have the chance, but like Lemmy, there certainly wouldn't be any cheese.

Agreed, that's why the question is impossible to answer/hypothetical.

I was also being kind to the "Bozo Brothers" in that with my choice they didn't have to learn another first name :p

*A kareokee machine. The brothers could get as fucked up as they want, Mikey could go hang out with Spammy, and the brothers wouldn't have anyone to be jealous of stealing the spot light from them! They think that Speddie's musical "genius" is what people come to see. And its the singer they always get jealous of in the end. All problems solved!
