SHN is a lossless encoding format, as is FLAC.

The CD ripping side of the equation is important too, of course.. but if you use EAC with secure mode you shouldn't have any problems getting pure copies.

I only don't like to hear the words 'lossless copy' because any copies have loss. even if the recording was copied from digital to digital. it's a nearly lossless copy.
