Well, from the interviews I've read Ed STOLE that guitar from Chris Holmes. As Holmes put it...Ed borrowed it and never brought it back. Even Edward mentioned that he stole it in an early Guitar Player interview. I think it might be hard to steal something you own, don't you think?
One other thing, there is no grand competition between us and the DDLR.com site. I wish everyone would quit trying to make it seem as though there were. Do not forget that Von was once a webbie here, and Pojo, conmee (I think. LOL), and myself were once webmasters there, after this site closed for a while. We have no problems with Von or any of the people at DDLR.com...still talk to them, probably more than most people know.

Sarge is the master of the DLR site. Slawterhouse was the official site but the Army was always home. Sarge and I dealt with a few tards together in the past which is why I dont frequent this site as much as I used to because as one BEPH faded away into obscurity some new dumb ass ( FLAP ) comes along and mistakes annoyance for amusement .
But Sarge has quality over the DDLR which if driven correctly could become the Army's equal. They aint competitors, more like two seperate books at both ends of a DLR library.
Now DDLR seems to think that retarded posts, constant harrassment and non DLR related content makes for interesting reading.
If you were blind and someone read out loud the posts to you, you'd never guess it was a DLR site.
You'd think..great..its Beevis and Butthead .com.
Sarge and Von both offer a cool service to all of us which costs them money and plenty of time.
Both of these Tard Sticks deserve a round of applause for their work and in my opinion both make a great place to visit and waste a few work hours.
The downside is of course the parasites that use both sites for their spamming purposes and their " I sure like gay porn" agendas, or their retarded ass delusional rants ( Hitch anyone?), but at any given hour each site offers more than a tad of interest to any of us that are DLR inclined.
The Army's claim to fame is its history. Mentioned on TV and magazines the Army is the recognised DLR site round the world.
DDLR has the DLR bands attention which gives it good credibility, which in my opinion certainly warrants the motivation to make it look like a site of the DLR Band instead of the hastily thrown together site it is now.
But as stated earlier both sites serve a purpose and are addictive as hell.
