Why is any of this bullshit even relevant? This is a simple little way of DDLR.COM advertising and taking away site members. Pretty sad actualy, as BOTH sites fucking rock IMO. I enjoy many of the threads posted over there, but somewhere along the way I found myself staying in the Army and eventualy becoming a MOD. You questioning our Van Halen knowledge is disrespectful. Sarge also seen the Van Halen/Roth love in all of us, that's one of the reasons we were chosen. It wasn't a "who you know" situation. Perhaps it is at the other site? I don't know. I'm far too busy trying to keep up with a few busy assholes spamming our forums night after night. I haven't exactly had tons of time to post intellectual conversations or personal stories about VH or Roth, again, because of a few assholes tying up the boards with non-sense playground hairpulling. If your post was edited, there was a reason. If your thread was dumped, again, guess what? There was a reason. There are reasons for everything here at the Army. Maybe your just not used to some sort of rules? Too much time spent photo-shopping pics perhaps? This was turned into a site vs site situation when it shouldn't have been. There is nothing wrong with us Mods. There is however something seriously wrong with you. You say your 41? Do you tell many of your friends or co-workers the shit you do, or the time you spend here, talking about what you do talk about, which hasn't been Van Halen or Dave? Statisticaly, you should've died from some sort of bungee jumping accident or lightening strike.

Wooda, I've just got to point one thing out...in the link you provided about the top guitarists...you mention that Edward and Chris Holmes bought that Destroyer together. Well, from the interviews I've read Ed STOLE that guitar from Chris Holmes. As Holmes put it...Ed borrowed it and never brought it back. Even Edward mentioned that he stole it in an early Guitar Player interview. I think it might be hard to steal something you own, don't you think?

One other thing, there is no grand competition between us and the DDLR.com site. I wish everyone would quit trying to make it seem as though there were. Do not forget that Von was once a webbie here, and Pojo, conmee (I think. LOL), and myself were once webmasters there, after this site closed for a while. We have no problems with Von or any of the people at DDLR.com...still talk to them, probably more than most people know.
