I disagree. If you can remember back to the 1984 Reagan campaign? They wanted to use Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A." and Bruce said no. Spam partially owns the rights to that "song" (if one can actually call it one? lol) and does have a say regarding how/when/why it can be used. I remember the same thing with Fleetwood Mac in '92.
