I saw it opening night. It fuckin ruled, and it came out a tie according to the film...but in my eyes, the Predator was the real winner. If you haven't seen it, for the love of God- GO NOW!!!

The movie is the definition of "mixed bag". The first 30 minutes are a complete waste. The movie is only an hour and 20 minutes long, and the opening half hour is spent with some sorry ass human sequences. Badly acted. Boring. The middle of the movie is decent, with some very cool Predator-Alien fights.........the Aliens kick some serious ass in these scenes. The last remaining Predator teams up with the last remaining human(a chick of course), and actually it's not as lame as it sounds. They blow up the building containing the ALiens. I don't wanna give away all the details, but at the end a Queen Alien gets loose and loses to the chick and Predator(though the Predator dies soon after). The Predators ship comes down, picks up his body, and his buddies give the chick a spear( a sign of respect I guess. MAJOR SPOILER NEXT...........AT the end an Alien pops out of the dead Predators body on the ship. Overall this wasnt that great.........shitty acting by the humans...........a pretty lame story line(Predators as ancient gods?!)..........too short............the ALien Predator battle scenes in the middle are very cool............The Aliens are still the vicious motherfuckers we know and love..........Predators get their asses kicked early, but kick some ass at the end...........overall only worth seeing if you're a hardcore fan, and even then it's VERY flawed. Oh and by the way Predator was a classic, (and to the above poster)Predator 2 sucked balls............Danny Fucking Glover?!

I liked both "Predator" films although Danny Glover is always type cast as the same character he was in "Lethal weapon".

I was pretty disapointed with this film...Big fan of Predator and the 1st 2 Alien movies, but there just wasnt enough fighting and why would they waste most of the film on god awful human character development...

That was my problem, lousy story line. Pretty good action scenes though.

Well there were a few scenes early in the show, I think they were on that ship, where you got a decent look at them winnebagos.

The movie was kick ass, except the first half hour. I got the storyline in the movie, but it dosen't explain all the other movies, which confused me. It's like something they just threw together in 3 days and marketed it right. Overall not a bad movie.

This movie took place before the alien movies. Weland Bishop who is the man that financed the expedition. The Robot in the first Alien movie was named Bishop. He was copied from the original guy. That's the tie in.
