Anybody seen Van Halen play the backyard parties in Pasadena back in the day?

Please tell me how it was to be at a party where Van Halen played at in the early 70's before they where dicovered.

Or even their early club days, before the security and barricades and tours, etc.

I just talked to a guy today that had Van Halen play at his HIGH SCHOOL in the early-mid 70's I think. He said it was frikkin incredible! They were total pro's. I went to the wrong school. In fact my Van Halen tribute band played at my school which was all new wave and it started a riot. Wrong school.
