Sorry guys to fail all of you!! I'm very sorry.......beleive me, I'm the biggest Dave fan as many of you are.

I know this Van Hagar shit is only for Eddie to make some bucks for rum and beer. The Fat Stinky Rocker (Sam) to keep drinking wabboritas and keep going bigger to the sides (getting fatter if you don't understand). For Alex to retire (finally). And Michael to afford a hair implant and gym anuality.
But you know what?.......They are comming to Puerto Rico. 20 years of waitting came to an end.
No matter what........Hurricanes, whatever....I'm going to buy first seat on that no matter the price. If I could also will buy the allaccess bullshit just to be there and see the migthy Van Halen himself.
Don't care that Sam kills all Dave classics with his stuppid voice.

First off, explaining that it's the first time in 20 years makes it a forgivable sin, at least in my eyes. The first time I ever had a chance to see Van Halen (as I'm only 30) was with Hagar, so, even though I'm new here and can't really speak for the rest, I can afford to cut you a bit o slack on that.

If you REALLY wanna get through to Ed, if you score backstage, try this approach. Rather than calling him a drunk and making fun of Hagar (which we'd ALL love to do, trust me), see if you can get a quiet moment alone with him and just say, politely, that it's great that they're there at all, but you're somewhat disheartened, because you've always been a bigger fan of the material that THEY created with David, and would have liked to see the original lineup just once in your life. And then, quickly now, thank him again, tell him "God bless" if that's up your alley, and whatever else he wants to hear.

You know, I kinda think that the old adage remains true - you can win over more flies with honey than vinegar. And maybe, just maybe, if enough people whisper sweet little nothings like that in Ed's ear, he'll start figuring out the game a bit.

It's a long shot, but it's better than no shot, and I think a lot of animosity will probably result in just that - NO SHOT.

Or I could be completely fuckin' wrong, who knows!

Guys, the concert was last week Monday (sept. 13).

It was Excellent!!!!. It was my first live VH and it was more than I wanted.
I know that the songs where the sameones of the last 5 years but including the 3 pieces of shit new songs. But beleive me those 3 pices of shit sounds great live (I mean, the music of course).
The Fat rocker do a good job singing the old tunes (Panama, Jump, Ain't talking about love, You really got me...etc.) nothing like Dave but at least treated the songs as good ones and not like shit as he does over and over inclusive in the Best of Both Worlds CD version.

All I can say is that all was great (except for the bass solo, and the Fat accoustic solo song)
If that was with the Fat Gay Rocker........I can't imagine how it will sound with Diamond Dave.....Uh!

I was with my Rotharmy T-shirt........Sam saw me at one moment of the show but just ignored me and keep the song

Got to think of it in terms of availability.

Can't really blame someone in Puerto Rico for wanting to check out Van Hagar, along the same lines as not giving anyone in Australia a hard time for going to see the Van Halen 3 lineup in 1998, because how often has any lineup of the band played in either of those places?

At the rate this tour is going, you'll be lucky if Van Hagar even bother to play the Puerto Rican dates.

By all means, go and check 'em out. God knows when Ed will drag his ass outta bed and drag his band outside the continental US again. May as well see him live once.
